Why do you need an individually designed nutrition program? Really, what I am going to try and do is convince you that you need a nutrition coach over a template. A template is basically a program that is designed to reach a wide variety of people instead of focusing 100% on one person’s needs.
What I am trying to say is…would you rather have a handout saying eat this…or…someone who can design a nutritional program to focus on your needs, and can adjust when things happen in your life, and be there to answer questions when you have them? Mm hmm.
For a lot of people, they just don’t know how to eat or are severely under eating, but are looking for some guidance. A lot of times they go for the cheaper route and buy some kind of plan they found online. This biggest issue though is this plan majority of the time will not fit their lifestyle.
What if the plan is asking for you to eat 125 grams of protein every day and you just tracked your food intake via MyFitnessPal and average about 85 grams every day. How the heck do you plan to hit 125 grams over night? Wouldn’t it be nice to have a coach walk you through it? Take small steps and focus on one thing at a time? I know right?!
What if the plan tells you to eat 6 meals a day and you know that isn’t going to work? A coach can help lay your day out to eat the calories you need to reach for your goals. 3 larger meals might fit your lifestyle and that is perfectly fine.
And my last point is the most important. What if you stall on your diet, lose motivation and get stressed to the max? Maybe life is kicking your a**? A coach who cares about building a relationship with you will be there to walk you off the cliff and get your back on track.
Individual nutritional design or a template? There isn’t a debate.
