Here’s something you aren’t doing…taking diet breaks from your actual diet! First off…I never advocate anything quick. If you are on a diet to reach a goal it should be thought out with a plan for before, during, and after the diet. Let’s say your goal is to lose 20 pounds. That should take months! Not weeks. This way you maintain a much muscle as possible, you don’t kill your self in the gym or deprive yourself because we know this to be unsustainable. And if the diet takes you 4-6 months I like to add in diet breaks occasionally for a mental break and often times to kick start fat loss again. This doesn’t mean YOLO it just means taking a break from tracking, and eating some foods you want in moderation. So take a diet break! Your mind will thank you 😃
